“Welcome to our Death Note interview!” Fluffy announced to the chatters. “Today we have a special guest that you may have come to know in the last few months as her photography and fanarts hit the front DA page! Crzee4art, we welcome you.” Fluffy claps for me as I enter.

I walk into the room shyly and sit at one of the chairs shifting in it uncomfortably. “Hello, everyone.” I give everyone a small wave to no one really since we are alone in a room and blush.

“Don’t be nervous! This will be fun!” Fluffy assured me but I wasn’t so sure. I was feeling the knots already in my stomach. I didn’t know if I could go through with this and stay calm.

Don’t fangirl! You will ruin this for yourself if you fangirl! They will ban you from the chat room interviews and mod services. Just stay calm… It is only L. Sure you sleep with an L plushie like you have for the last four years but this is nothing. Stay calm.

I took a deep breath and smiled brightly. “I am glad to be here but where are Slinkers and Kuro? They are usually here aren’t they?” I looked around the room but couldn’t see them.

“Slinkers is just late and Kuro is getting L for you.” Fluffy answered tapping her pen against her clipboard.

“Well today we are in reality all together meeting in real life! Amazing right? We have our Shingami though typing out what we say in perfect order, right Paperandpencil?” Fluffy ask and someone comes out form under the table with both thumbs up and I jump in surprise. I watched as the person disappeared under the table again. I watched the table warily after that instance. “Great!” Fluffy exclaimed.

I sat in the chair and pulled off my backpack and pulled out my Macbook and tablet. I turned it on and started typing out things. I plugged in my tablet to start up it up.

“What is it you have there?” Fluffy asked out of curiosity. I’m sure I was being slightly rude but this was the only way I could control my inner fangirl and stay calm during this interview.

“Um…” I turned on my tablet and started to doodle out things like a chibi L and color it absentmindedly. “I will just be working on a new art piece that I will base off what happens in the interview and it helps me concentrate if I’m doing something like this while talking to people.” I doodled a little more. When the page would get full I would just erase it all or start a new page. I sighed and doodled some more.

“That is interesting and I hope we can perhaps get a sneak peek at this new piece of art of yours.” Fluffy said happily. I pulled my legs up Indian style on to the chair to stay comfortable and calm. This position also made it harder for me to move quickly and perhaps tackle L, which was predominate in the thoughts of my mind at the time.

“Well I suppose I can start with your questions. A few people and myself have questions for you. For one, do you take art classes or photography classes or ever have?” She said happily as she toyed with her pen.

“I took Photography freshman year of high school. I just started college this year, well not started but I’m going. I took Art I sophomore year and Art II junior year and Honors Studio Art senior year.” I sketched out a drawing of Fluffy. I put her in a dress with a pink fluffy tail at the bottom that fanned out like a shrimp’s tail might if made of lace and tutu matter.

“That is nice. Only a freshman in college? When we chatted before hand I thought you were in your sophomore of junior year of college for some reason even though I did check your age on your profile.” I blushed even though I couldn’t tell if it was a compliment or just a comment on how I seemed a little older than I was. Things like that seemed to happen to me often though. I remembered once my freshman year in high school when I went to the Elephant Bar restaurant and the waiter offered me a drink, like a martini. I just muttered that I wasn’t old enough and he laughed but soon realized I was serious and got my parents order. My dad found it amusing and said, I quote, “I think the waiter has the hots for you.” I kicked him under the table I think. The waiter was like 21 or something like that.

The door to the room opened and in walked who I assumed to be Slinkers because she didn’t have L with her. “Sorry I’m late! Effin’ car wouldn’t move fast enough!” She grumbled and sat down. She looked at me and my little set up on the chair. “I have a two quick questions for you! These two crucial questions will determine whether we can get along or not! Are you ready?” She raised her eyebrows and I smiled.

“Sure!” I said putting the tablet pen down. “What are these crucial questions?”

“Are you a fan of a doctor known as Who?” She gave a disgusted sound.

I laughed. “I have never watched it so no.”

She smiled. “Great! You got the first one right! Now… do you find that funner is a fun word?” She seemed utterly serious and I couldn’t help but laugh.

“Funner is the funnierest word ever!” I laughed and smiled at her. She got up and hugged me around the neck. “You’re my best friend here at the moment!”

“Do you forget I’m not a Dr. Who fan and I like funner, Slinkers?” Fluffy said with a annoyed yet hilarious tone.

“Of course I didn’t!” She glomped Fluffy out of nowhere and laughed.

“Oh we so need a laugh track to play right now!” She said running around the room. “So where is L and Kuro? Late?” Slinkers said in surprise.

Fluffy nodded and sighed looking at her watch. “Where could they be?”

The door busted open and in plopped Kuro, I assume, and she fell onto the floor. And behind her waltzed in the infamous detective L. I felt my heart quicken and skip a few beats. I almost squeed but held my hand tightly over my mouth and muffled it out. I let my laptop and tablet balance on the chair as I got up to give him a polite hug. L simply stepped over Kuro like she wasn’t there sadly and she got herself up. She just brushed the dirt off of her shirt and walked over to the group of us sitting.

He put out his hand and I shook it. “Hello, Miss Crzee4art. I am L.” He said with a slight smile. I almost squeed again but snapped my eyes shut and pushed the thoughts away.

“It is a great pleasure to meet you, L.” I said happily. I think I sounded a little too eager. I must keep myself calm cool and collected. I took in a deep breath and sat back down with my laptop and tablet in hand. I started a new drawing of myself hugging L tightly with hearts and squees abound. I smiled and kept sketching it out soundlessly.

“What are you drawing there, Crzee4art?” L asked and he was suddenly behind me. I squeaked in surprise and snapped my laptop shut.

“Um… nothing!” I said in a knowingly guilty tone. I can’t lie.

“Are you drawing L yaoi?” Asked Slinkers and Kuro at almost the same time.

I jumped a little in my seat at the accusation. “No.” I said a little too quickly and my face turned red.

“Oh… Well can we see?” Slinkers pointed to herself and Kuro and Fluffy.

L made a face full of disappointment and my heart sank into my lower intestine. I shook my head. “If L can’t then you guys can’t.” They booed me though and groaned. “Okay! I will give a preview at the end of the interview!” I caved quickly. I was too willing to do what people asked me.

“Yay!” Slinkers said and a laugh track followed that was brought by Kuro.

“Oh my god! Haha! I got a laugh track!” She laughed happily and Kuro simply laughed along.
